Life on stage: Then & Now
Marigo Bay has been performing since she was 7 years old. She began writing songs and poems as a tiny first grader and attended every talent show she could, to show off her tunes. As she grew into a more established artist, and into a young adult, she scoped out local bars, sandwich shops, open mic nights and such to share her music with more attentive and receptive crowds. Over time, her following on the East Coast grew and she booked gigs left and right! When COVID hit, focus shifted to songwriting and artist development, honing her skills and preparing for the day she could shine on stage again. Fun Fact: Marigo bay wrote “malibu” upon reflecting on her own short time spent on the west coast.

Fun fact: this was marigo bay’s first performance in belgium as she moved there during the pandemic and there was a long wait for live gigs to be allowed by law.

fun fact: marigo bay plays and composes most of her songs with her keyboard/piano. Sometimes she even packs up her keys and takes them along to gigs!

fun fact: marigo bay wrote paris with the intention of it being an uplifting track for all the listeners who have learned to love themselves before loving someone else. She loved the track so much that she begged her label to release an acoustic version of it a couple months Following the release of the well-loved pop track.
